Jashim made new MD of BDB

RN Desk: Banker Md Jashim Uddin has joined Bangladesh Development Bank PLC as Managing Director and CEO on Wednesday. The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance recently appointed him by issuing a circular. Prior , Jashim Uddin was Deputy Managing Director of the Janata Bank PLC. Md. Jasim Uddin started his career by joining Janata Bank in 1988 as a senior officer.
He has served as the manager of various branches of the bank, zonal head, and head of divisional offices and General Manager (GM) of various departments of the head office. After being promoted from the GM post, he was also appointed as the DMD of Karmasangsthan Bank. He obtained B. A. (Hons.) and M. A. degrees from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. He also obtained an MBA degree from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
