8 burnt in Narayanganj gas explosion

Eight people sustained severe burns in a gas explosion caused by a leakage in Narayanganj’s Dhakeshwari 2 area early Monday.
The incident occurred at around 3:30 am when a gas line leakage led to a sudden explosion, engulfing the victims in flames. They were immediately rushed to the emergency department of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Dr Shaon Bin Rahman, resident Surgeon at the hospital, said most of the victims have suffered major burns. Their condition remained critical as doctors continue treatment.
